About Watts Family Service

Twelve years in, we still remember what it felt like to be on the other side of the phone call.

Sean Watts started this business because he got tired of watching contractors disappear after the estimate. He'd call someone, they'd show up once, promise the world, and then you'd spend weeks chasing them down for updates or watching the work drag on without explanation. There was a gap between what people needed and what they were actually getting—and it bothered him enough to do something about it.

Those first couple of years were scrappy. We took every job we could handle, showed up early, stayed late, and asked questions instead of assuming we knew what was wrong. We made mistakes. We learned that cutting corners doesn't save time—it just moves the problem to later. We learned that being honest about what something would cost, even when it wasn't cheap, built more trust than low bids ever did. Somewhere in those early jobs, we figured out that people didn't want the fanciest service. They wanted someone who showed up, did solid work, and treated their home like it mattered.

'I learned early that your reputation is built one conversation at a time. You can't fake consistency.'

— Sean Watts, Founder

What a Dozen Years Teaches You

Being family-owned has changed how we think about work. When your name is on the truck and your kids might see the same neighbors you're working for at the grocery store, you can't afford to half-ass anything. It's not theoretical. We've built this place on the idea that every job reflects who we are, and that accountability has never been negotiable.

Honest work looks different in practice. It means telling you what we found, even if it's more complex than the original estimate. It means explaining why we recommend one approach over a cheaper one, and then respecting your decision either way. We've turned down jobs because doing them right would mean spending more than the homeowner wanted to invest, and we'd rather say that upfront than surprise you later. Over time, that approach attracted people who valued straight talk over sales pressure.

Dependability is the one thing you can't earn back once you lose it. So we show up when we say we will. We call if something's going to change. We finish what we start without excuses. You notice these things because they're rare enough to stand out. That consistency, repeated over years, is what turns one-time customers into people who recommend us to their friends and family.

What It's Like Working With Us

You'll get a straightforward conversation about what's needed and what it takes to do it right. We show up on time. We walk you through what we're seeing and why we're recommending what we recommend. You're not left wondering what's happening or when to expect us. When the work's done, it's actually done—not just close enough. If something doesn't sit right with us after we've left, we'll come back and fix it because that's how we'd want to be treated.

Give us a call if you want to talk about what you're dealing with. We'll listen, ask the right questions, and tell you what we think. No pressure, no sales pitch—just honest conversation with someone who actually cares about getting it right.
